Development of a data quality assurance for the electricity division at SW Leipzig

Signion uses the existing QA tool set for data quality analysis to check GIS and SAP data qualitatively and quantitavely for consistence and completeness. 

The QA module from signion is used by SW Leipzig in the electricity division to check and ultimately improve and correct the data of the electricity division.

Since signion already has module components, results could be achieved and presented quickly. Through training and close cooperation with the customer, he can now independently expand the system and carry out updates. The results are presented in the form of an Excel dashboard. Gradually, errors and data gaps as well as system-related sources of error can be eliminated. This already leads to an increase in data quality in the short term, from which everyone in the company benefits.

Beyond this standard, the system has been extended to generate key figures for monthly and annual supply interruption reports. Previously, these reports were compiled in time-consuming detail. Now they are automatically generated in LCC and made available in Excel via Power Query at the push of a button.
