SW Fürstenfeldbruck rely on signion's integrated asset management solution
After the successful completion of a pilot phase for the electricity division in the second quarter of 2021, Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck decided to introduce LCC yet in the same quarter.
Immediately after the procurement, the expansion in the electricity sector was started. All operating assets were transferred to the signion system. The data in LCC goes through a step-by-step quality assurance process. Data deficiencies, missing data and inconsistencies are identified and, if necessary, passed on to the service provider for rectification.
The municipal utilities thus receive a central and ISO-compliant asset register that allows easy access and evaluation of all operating asset data. Year of construction determinations, added geometries as well as a concession area allocation via the point or point chain allocation to concession polygons complete the data situation and provide a good platform for the strategic and operative asset management of Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck.
The specific lifetimes, replacement values and, if necessary, suitable value assumptions required for asset management are added to the operating resources. A separate valuation of the operating assets for the presentation of a strategy oriented to the objectives of the municipal utility was also added.
Thus, the basis was created for the presentation of the network condition and the preparation of analyses and reports with corresponding forecasts on investment measures and their effects on defined target values. The project was rounded off by the presentation of desired data in the Qlik dashboard system with the help of relevant apps created by signion.
